APPLICATION CRITERIA

• Current uniformed member of a fire department or other emergency services organization
• Two years of emergency response experience
• Have never attended an FDSOA Health and Safety Conference in the past (or within the past 5 years)
• Must have department approval for attendance if selected (letter must accompany application)

SCHOLARSHIP INCLUDES

• Registration for the 2023 FDSOA Health and Safety Conference and one pre-con seminar (optional)
• Airfare or mileage expenses (actual cost based on lowest advanced purchased coach fare or Federal mileage rate)
• Up to 5 nights hotel lodging (reservations to be made through FDSOA)
• Expenses to and from the conference center and airport (if needed)
• One year FDSOA membership

• One page resume of the applicant.
• Statement of reason for application and financial need.
• Approval letter from your department.
