I have served the citizens of Mesa Fire/Medical Department for nearly 27 years after six years in the U.S Army. The first 16 years of my career I dedicated my service to Truck Company Operations, Technical Rescue, and Hazmat teams as a Firefighter and Captain. After a tour as a Recruit Training Officer and Hirring and Promotions Captain I began developing a passion for Firefighter Safety as a Battalion Safety Officer and the East Deputy Safety Officer. This led to my current role as the Department Safety Officer. I have served in this capacity for the last three years, reinforcing a culture of Safety for an organization of over 700 members.
